If you can explain how missed works is it depends on luck or some stats? Drop chances of numbers depends on luck yes/no if no then on what it depends. (When she find money it looks like ..wow money i love it.. . What sence from lettuce for snail?
Hitting the target depends on both Nono's ATTACK stat and the monster's DEFENSE stat. A dice roll is added to both and then compared. So it depends on both stats and luck, like in a TTRPG. Monster drops are fixed as far as money goes, but they can drop a specific item with a certain percentage chance. Lettuce for Uzu is used to level up; red lettuces increase its attack, and blue lettuces increase its speed. Every 5 lettuces, Uzu gains a level and at the first level she also starts fighting gaining the first attack.
Every weapon and shield has fixed damage and fixed damage scaling, it's the symbol with the sword/shield with an arrow. sword and shield alone indicate the bonus/malus to the hit/defense roll. It's everything in the ingame tutorial by Uzu (SHIFT button in her menù page). Every trap has same %. With Alt+Enter usually it goes fullscreen.
I love this game, you know. PQ is beautifully detailed and comprehensive. Tactical battles, a strategy that can also be applied to a system that appears repetitive but which actually gives you a remarkable control of the situation. Incredible animations !!!. Nono communicates effectively without saying a single word, only with cartoons and expressions, only for this reason Pq is a game to try, enjoy and love !!!!
I love the art, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. Firstly, everything takes SO LONG! There's no way to skip ahead with cut scenes or the level up animation. There's a 40 PAGE TUTORIAL!!! The gameplay itself is rather simplistic. As far as I can tell, there's no skill system, just charging headlong into attacks. It's too bad. The concept is actually great, you really just need to add a few more options to choices during gameplay itself(and find some way to add a speed up option for the dialogue for those of us who read at an adult level and don't want to sit there forever waiting for something we've already read and comprehended.)
Thanks for your feedback. It's a slow paced game and being my choice I take the blame, I still tried to implement a skip function, but unfortunately it's a tool limitation that I could not get around (except on a couple of occasions).
There is a skill system and it develops according to the player's style of play, but it takes time to kick in (it doesn't depend on the level up).
The 40 (very short) page tutorial is for reference only, you can consult it at any time from Uzu's page, I come from an era when games had an instruction booklet XD.

I really enjoyed this game. The mix of RPG and Board Games worked great here. Congratulations.
Thanks!
